In the current year of 2023, BOAVISTA has once again committed to offsetting its carbon emissions through the ZERO CARBON Certification.

The process has taken place over the past few months and shows that, despite the increase in production, BOAVISTA’s increased care for the environment means that there is no proportional increase in terms of carbon footprint. In fact, in the period between February 2022 and March 2023, 45.5 tonnes of CO2 were produced, a lower figure compared to the previous period (52.5).

Once again, we collected data for a year on transport, fleet, energy consumption and waste production, among others, and Ponto Verde Serviços calculated the equivalent CO2 footprint, planting trees to offset it. As in previous years, the chosen forest area is located in Quinta da França, in Teixoso, Covilhã.
