Boavista Windows renews its Carbono Zero certification

In 2024, BOAVISTA renewed its commitment to the planet by offsetting the carbon emissions that occurred between March 2023 and February 2024, renewing its CARBON ZERO Certification.

The process took place over the last few months and shows the enormous effort being made by the BOAVISTA team to optimise processes in order to substantially reduce the company’s CO2 emissions. Thus, in the period mentioned above, 36.3 tonnes of CO2 were produced, a much lower figure compared to the previous year: 45.5 tCO2.

Once again, we collected a year’s worth of data on transport, fleet, energy consumption and waste production, among other things. Ponto Verde Serviços was responsible for calculating the CO2 equivalent footprint and planting trees to offset it. As in previous years, the chosen forest area is located at Quinta da França, in Teixoso, Covilhã.
