As you may have noticed, we decided to change the website’s organization a little to make this space more personal.

I have been Growth Manager at BOAVISTA Windows since 2019 but I have been on board since 2015. Coming from a background linked to major metallic structures and façades’ works, I came across Boavista Windows at a time when I wanted to change my life. After a few years working in one of the largest groups in the metal construction business in Europe, I wanted to leave the giant scale and follow a project that was truly innovative and with growth potential, from the beginning.

During this phase of my life I ended up enrolling in a master’s degree in innovation and entrepreneurship, and it was through one of the jobs that I ended up getting to know BOAVISTA.

I found it very refreshing that this [small, at the time] startup works with fibreglass. It came from an environment where there were only two possible choices: steel or aluminum. Finding a different raw material, on top of that a super sustainable composite material (my inner mechanical engineer told me it had to be interesting) was like an invitation to embrace the project.

The first years were a lot of work: I started by helping to create the sales process, helping to establish a network of contacts, defining strategies. Slowly I was also concerned with marketing and communication and, when I realized, it was necessary to deal with the pains (and joys) of the growth of a company that was no longer a startup.

That’s how the position “Growth Manager” came about, invented by us.

And this is how I bring you this blog. To share what it’s like to work on this constantly growing project that is BOAVISTA Windows, to show what our culture is about and why we love what we do. Hope you like it.
