And that paint is a crucial part of the whole product? In Formula 1 cars, it can provide the extra smoothness to the surface, to reduce friction and increase performance, besides being used for aesthetic and sponsor reasons.  

In windows, the coating system contributes to the UV rays resistance. It also provides the coolness of having any colour you desire 😉
